Run Your Own Music Festival

Apply now to be part of the UK's largest grassroots music festival

Support grassroots music, celebrate your local music scene and help fight poverty around the world with Oxfam’s very own festival.

This is Oxjam – the UK’s largest grassroots music festival – and we need inspiring Festival Managers to join the team, and do something incredible in 2018.

So what is Oxjam? Oxjam is a new type of music festival.

Oxjam is a community festival run by you, for you. It’s made up of all your favourite musicians, at your favourite independent venues and gig spaces, playing in celebration of everything you love about your local music scene.

Oh, and all the money raised goes to fighting poverty around the world. Now that’s something we can all get behind.

Where do I come in?

As an Oxjam Festival Manager, you’ll be organising your own music festival in October 2018 and providing a platform for up and coming musical talent. You’ll also be uniting music fans across your city and raising money to fight poverty and inequality worldwide.

We’ll give you all the training and advice you need to develop your skills, knowledge and connections, and ensure you pull off your own massive music festival in 2018.

What do I need to do?

To write your name into Oxfam’s rich musical history, you’ll just need to take that first step and start your application below. What are you waiting for?

“Volunteering as Festival Manager was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was great to learn about how music events run, from booking acts to on-the-day management and everything in between. I don’t think anything will beat the feeling of accomplishment, knowing that we had done it, and that we had raised over £2,500 for Oxfam.”
