Run Your Own Music Festival

Join our inspiring team of volunteers and help beat poverty

This is Oxjam – the UK’s largest grassroots music festival – and we need inspiring Festival Managers to join the team, and help beat poverty with Oxfam.

If you are based in Bristol, Coventry, Derby, Leamington Spa, London, Nottingham, Wolverhampton, or anywhere else you think could work well for an Oxjam Festival, then we want to hear from you!

So what is Oxjam? Oxjam is a new type of music festival.

Oxjam is a community festival run by you, for you. It’s made up of all your favourite musicians, at your favourite independent venues and gig spaces, playing in celebration of everything you love about your local music scene.

Where do I come in?

We have already recruited more than 30 volunteer Festival Managers to run multi-venue music events on behalf of Oxfam this October, but are still looking for more to join our inspiring team!

Don’t worry if it sounds daunting, we’ll give you all the training and advice you need to develop your skills, knowledge and connections, and ensure you pull off your own massive music festival in 2018.

What do I need to do?

To write your name into Oxfam’s rich musical history, you’ll just need to take that first step and start your application below. What are you waiting for?

Please note: We are no longer recruiting Festival Managers for 2018. However, there are still lots of way to get involved with Oxjam18. We want to hear from you!

“Volunteering as Festival Manager was one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was great to learn about how music events run, from booking acts to on-the-day management and everything in between. I don’t think anything will beat the feeling of accomplishment, knowing that we had done it, and that we had raised over £2,500 for Oxfam.”

Sam Dewey, Peckham.
